Inside the ALPHA system are hardened stainless-steel bearing races hand-built with grade-3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls, delivering incredibly smooth rolling with extremely low friction. Custom-engineered seals and precision dust covers offer up to 500% better moisture protection than previous generations, ensuring consistent performance in all weather and training conditions.

The new simplified spacer-tube system and lightweight cups make installation faster and reduce overall weight by 10% compared to previous CeramicSpeed models. Every BB ALPHA unit is designed, developed, and hand-assembled in Denmark, and backed by CeramicSpeed’s lifetime warranty.

This model precisely pairs a SRAM DUB crankset (28.99mm axle) with a 41mm press-fit shell that is 86mm wide, the standard known as BB86.
