SHIFTING TIME

Active Debris Remover (ADR)
ADR is a patent-pending technical feature designed to make it virtually impossible for debris to enter the bearing. It uses a new dust cover design, anchored securely in a groove within the pulley wheel, fully enclosing the bearing. This is paired with a bladed groove structure that surrounds the dust cover, dynamically extracting debris from the pulley wheel during rotation.

ADR has been developed through collaboration between our R&D department, the CeramicSpeed test lab, and field testing by select professional off-road teams.

ALPHA Disc
For the new OSPW RS, we are offering versions fitted with the ultra-durable ALPHA Disc Pulley Wheel, first introduced with our OSPW X for Eagle Transmission.

The ALPHA Disc features a two-piece construction: a narrow-wide tooth profile made from composite material for prolonged wear protection and noise reduction, and a solid aluminum disc that prevents external objects from getting stuck between the spokes of the pulley wheel. This also adds strength and stiffness to the design.

The initial solid disc pulley wheel design was field-tested during CycloCross World Cups. In the 2022 CycloCross season, our sponsored team, Tormans, extensively used the solid disc design, providing valuable feedback on its ability to clear mud in challenging conditions.
