BlackChili Compound

Continental's proprietary BlackChili Compound is engineered to balance rolling resistance, grip and durability without compromising overall performance.

Using advanced polymers, carbon black particles and specialised fillers, the compound is designed to deliver efficient rolling characteristics while maintaining predictable traction and extended service life across a variety of road surfaces.

Vectran Breaker Protection

The Grand Prix 5000 incorporates Vectran Breaker, a lightweight puncture protection layer positioned beneath the tread.

Vectran is a high-performance liquid crystal polymer (LCP) fibre with exceptional tensile strength and cut resistance while adding minimal weight.
