By analyzing gravel race profiles, athlete energy expenditure, and on-bike carry requirements, SEKA has redefined what a modern racing gravel bike should be. Aerodynamics Where It Matters

Gravel racing demands speed as much as adaptability. The ExAero GR is developed around SEKA’s core aero philosophy: the complete bike system in race configuration. That means aerodynamics are optimized not just for the bare frame, but with wide tires, storage solutions, and accessories installed.

In its optimal race setup, the ExAero GR achieves aerodynamic efficiency comparable to conventional road bikes, delivering meaningful gains where it counts most—over long, fast gravel races and exposed terrain.

Maximum Tire Freedom

56mm Front / 52mm Rear Clearance

There’s no single “perfect” tire width for gravel racing. The ExAero GR offers exceptional flexibility with clearance for up to 56mm tires at the front and 52mm at the rear, allowing riders to fine-tune grip, rolling resistance, and comfort based on course conditions and race strategy.

Integrated Storage, Hidden Performance

The ExAero GR features a concealed downtube storage compartment designed to carry essential tools, inner tube, CO₂, levers, and valves, secured with a FIDLOCK magnetic closure for fast, easy access. Compared to traditional saddle packs, this solution saves approximately 2.6 watts aerodynamically.

Additional modular mounting points on the downtube, top tube, and seatpost allow adaptable storage configurations for different race formats. Purpose-built accessories are currently in development.

WIND EYE Seatpost Design

Comfort Without Compromise

Optimized for gravel, SEKA’s refined WIND EYE structure delivers outstanding compliance without sacrificing rigidity. The seatpost allows up to 16mm of longitudinal deformation and 106 N/mm rear vertical compliance, significantly improving vibration damping and rider comfort during long, demanding races, while preserving sharp power transfer.

980g Frame Weight

At just 980 grams (size 54, unpainted), the ExAero GR achieves its low weight without compromising structural integrity. Built using TORAY T1100 and M46J carbon fibers, the frame delivers exceptional tensile strength, impact resistance, and energy absorption, critical for aggressive gravel racing.

This weight represents the optimal balance between rigidity, durability, and performance, achieved through extensive testing and refinement.

One-Piece Carbon Construction

The ExAero GR uses a monocoque, one-piece molding process, no glued joints, no segmented sections. This ensures uninterrupted force transmission, higher fatigue resistance, and superior impact durability, unlocking the full performance potential of advanced carbon materials.

Designed to strike the perfect balance between agility and stability, the ExAero GR features:

- Two seatpost offsets: 0 mm / –15 mm

- Trail range: 71–60 mm

- BB drop: 74–70 mm

- Chainstay length: 423 mm

This geometry delivers precise steering, confident high-speed handling, and predictable control across loose and technical terrain.

Gladius GR Integrated Cockpit

Purpose-Built Control

Developed exclusively for the ExAero GR, the Gladius GR integrated handlebar features:

- 16° outward flare for improved wrist alignment and control

- Slight rear sweep for increased reach and stability

- Anti-slip textured surface for wet or rough conditions

Available in multiple width and length combinations for precise fit tuning.
